Booba was originally a YouTube series

Disney has acquired the rights to all seasons of animated kids’ series Booba, totalling 130×4-7’ episodes, for 16 countries in Europe, where it will launch on Disney+ in the first quarter of 2026.

Produced by Dubai-headquartered Kedoo Entertainment’s in-house animation studio 3D Sparrow, Booba is a non-dialogue comedy series that follows the titular character and his friends as they explore the modern world. It is aimed at kids aged 2-8 and their families.

Booba began life as a YouTube series in 2014 and is now available on channels and platforms including Netflix, Amazon’s Prime Video, Roku and ITVX in the UK.

Warner Bros Discovery picked up season five last month for HBO Max (worldwide excluding the US) and for Cartoonito in Latin America, Discovery Kids and POGO in India.
