Amphibia is a comedy series that chronicles the adventures of a 13-year-old, self-centred girl who is magically transported to a world of full of frog-people.

It comes from director and executive producer Matt Braly, who was also a director on Disney’s Gravity Falls.

The Owl House, meanwhile, is from executive producer Dana Terrace, whose credits include Disney’s DuckTales and Gravity Falls.

The series follows a self-assured teenage girl who accidentally stumbles upon a portal to the Demon Realm, where she befriends a rebellious witch and an adorably tiny warrior.

Both series are set to premiere in 2019 and are produced by Disney Television Animation (DTA).

Disney Channel has also ordered a fourth season of Star vs The Forces of Evil, which comes from creator Daron Nefcy and is also produced by DTA.

“Amphibia and The Owl House are both set in wildly imaginative worlds and share hallmarks of great Disney storytelling, including fantastical elements and memorable characters,” said Eric Coleman, senior VP of original programming and general manager at DTA.
