Disney+ brings Golden Girls back to UK

NEWS BRIEF: US-based streaming service Disney+ is bringing classic US sitcom The Golden Girls back to the UK and Ireland next month.

All 180 episodes across seven seasons will be available exclusively on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland from July 2. The series originally aired on US broadcast network NBC between 1985 and 1992 and most recently screened in the UK on ViacomCBS-owned terrestrial network Channel 5.
