Disney Branded Television picks up live-action, animation, VFX series Armosaurs

Disney Branded Television will air VFX kids’ series Armosaurs

Disney Branded Television (DBT) has acquired two seasons of upcoming live-action, animation and VFX kids’ series Armosaurs.

Produced by MGA Entertainment and adapted from Daewon Media’s South Korean series Armored Saurus, Armosaurs follows a team of teen pilots and their armoured dinosaurs, who are are humanity’s last line of defense against an advanced alien race intent on returning to Earth to replenish their army of prehistoric fighting dinosaurs.

The first 13×22’ season of the series, which is aimed at kids aged six-plus, will premiere on Disney XD in the US in October and roll out on Disney+ in February 2026.

The deal also includes select full episodes, shorts and exclusive content to launch on Disney Channel on YouTube.

Next year, MGA will expand the Armorsaurs universe across toys, digital content, lifestyle products and games.

UK-based Cake is handling all media distribution rights globally, excluding China, Japan and Korea which are managed by Daewon Media.
