Faigus, who was formerly VP of alternative series and specials, will be tasked with identifying new concepts for series, working with new and existing creative collaborators and overseeing creative production on unscripted series and pilots.

Her responsibilities will also include expanding the output and inventory of owned and distributed unscripted programming across all platforms for the newly formed unscripted unit at Walt Disney Television, as well as expanding the production unit’s team.

Faigus, who joined ABC in 2015, has worked on projects such as The Little Mermaid Live!, The Disney Family Singalong franchises, Shark Tank and The $100,000 Pyramid.

“Tiffany has been my right hand in expanding our unscripted slate at ABC and I couldn’t be happier for her to do so as we grow the business across Walt Disney Television,” said Robert Mills, executive VP of unscripted and alternative entertainment at Walt Disney Television.

“Her deep roots in production and her strong relationships within the company and industry make her the perfect person to further the company’s success in unscripted programming across the multiplatform landscape.”

Before joining ABC, Faigus worked at Creative Artists Agency and later transitioned into showrunning and creative producing. Her CV includes producing series and specials for NBC, CBS, ABC, TBS, VH1 and HBO.
