Dish alum Jennifer Ihrke takes partnerships and distribution role at Great American Media

Former Dish Network executive Jennifer Ihrke has been appointed as VP of content partnerships and distribution at US faith and family entertainment network Great American Media (GAM).

Her remit is to oversee content acquisition, distribution and strategic marketing partnerships across the Arlington, Texas-based company’s portfolio. She will report to Kristen Roberts, chief revenue officer and exec VP of programming.

Ihrke brings over 15 years of experience in the media and entertainment industries, leading partnership deals for cable nets, streamers and theatrical distributors.

She joins from Fathom Entertainment, where she served as director of programming, acquiring speciality films for limited theatrical runs. Prior to that Ihrke was general manager of programming content acquisition for Dish Network and has also held senior roles at National CineMedia and AT&T Sports Network.

GAM is home to a portfolio of entertainment brands that celebrate faith, family and country, including flagship linear network Great American Family and faith-focused streaming platform Great American Pure Flix.

Roberts said: “Jennifer has a wealth of experience in media, entertainment and sports that Great American Media will benefit from. Her background in content distribution and strategic partnerships will be valuable as we continue to expand and grow our platforms.”
