Discovery net investigates UK launch

Discovery Networks is bringing its crime channel Investigation Discovery to the UK, marking its first international launch.

The channel, which goes live in January, will go head-to-head with the likes of A&E and Sky’s Crime & Investigation Network, airing original commissions as well as US content.

Discovery Networks’ UK head of factual Dan Korn has ordered a number of one-offs, such as 3BM Television’s Torso in the Thames and IWC Media’s Serial Killers.
