Discovery Kids, ZDF embark on Shoom’s Odyssey

NEWS BRIEF: Discovery Kids in Latin America, German pubcaster ZDF, Rai in Italy and NHK in Japan are among the international broadcasters to have acquired 2D animated preschool show Shoom’s Odyssey.

The 1×26’ special is produced and distributed by France’s Dandelooo and focuses on a baby owl who hatches during a storm. Movistar (Spain), Periscoop (Netherlands), Hop! (Israel), Truecorp (Thailand), MomoKids TV (Taiwan) and South Korean educational pubcaster EBS have also picked it up as Mipcom gets underway in Cannes.
