Robert Irvine in Food Network’s Restaurant: Impossible

US-based streamer Discovery+ has commissioned a culinary competition series that will be hosted by Restaurant: Impossible’s Robert Irvine.

Each episode of The Globe features four chefs competing in an arena where the backdrop changes to represent different places in the world using LED screens.

The locations shown determine the theme for the round, with the chefs being limited to local ingredients. Locations used include Paris, Mumbai, Florence and Addis Ababa.

The five-part series begins streaming on July 17 and is produced by LA’s Lando Entertainment.
