Discovery Asia, CCTV bolster factual slates

Korea’s EBS picked up Incredible Animal Moments

Discovery Asia, Chinese state-owned broadcaster CCTV and Thai PBS are among the broadcasters to have picked up more than 110 hours of content from Bomanbridge Media.

Discovery Asia has ordered Heroes of the Wild Frontier (6×30’), which follows forest guards and frontline staff in India’s forests and national parks.

CCTV and Thai PBS have both acquired Micro Killers (1×60’), with the latter picking up over 40 hours including Ghost Killers (1×60’), The Wild Heart of Spain (1×60’) and Babies Diary (1×60’).

Elsewhere, RTV in Indonesia, SCTV in Vietnam and EBS in Korea have taken 40 hours of programming from Singapore-based producer and distributor Bomanbridge, including Incredible Spiders (1×60’), Wild Canadian Year (4×60’) and Wild Italy (9×60’). EBS has also licensed Incredible Animal Moments (1×60’) and Babies Diary.

Meanwhile, Bomanbridge has acquired more than 100 hours of factual from companies such as DR Sales, West One Entertainment and Wild Stories.

From DR Sales, Bomanbridge Media has picked up the Asian rights to blue-chip 4K series Wild & Wonderful Denmark (5×60’) and Snowhow 4K (4×60’).

The company has also secured distribution rights to Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Africa to wildlife titles from West One Entertainment, including Adapt To Survive (3×60’), Deadly Hunters (3×60’), Wild Kingdoms (3×60’), Wild Dynasties (3×60’) and Epic Animal Encounters (13×60’).

Finally, it has picked up Asia-Pacific rights to Wild Latam 4K (9×60’) and Wild Hunters 4K (6×60’) from Spanish prodco Wild Stories.
