NEWS BRIEF: Digitoonz Spain, the European subsidiary of India’s Digitoonz Media & Entertainment, has picked up the distribution rights to two animated kids’ series from US Hispanic and Latin American company Canela Media.

SúperEllas (23×8’) follows two curious girls who, with the help of their magical book and portal, embark on exciting journeys to uncover the stories of female Latin trailblazers who have made a lasting impact on history. Coproduced with Lingo Plaza, Plaza de Aventuras follows a monkey and his friends who take children aged four to eight on a journey to explore the richness of Latin American culture.
