Dennis to make more mayhem at CBBC

NEWS BRIEF: Classic UK cartoon series Dennis and Gnasher, based on characters from The Beano comic, has been recommissioned by UK diginet CBBC and an Australian commercial network for next year.

August Media Holding-owned Scottish toon house Red Kite Animations is hooking up with Australia’s Sticky Pictures to produce the 52×11’/26×24’ season for CBBC and Nine Network. The Dennis franchise, the rights to which are held by DC Thomson, turns 75 in July 2013, around the time the show will be delivered.
