All series are available dubbed into Arabic or Spanish. Turkish series are proving especially popular in Spain and Latin America, slowly replacing telenovelas as local producers focus on more high-end content.

Dramax also plans to introduce Urdu, Russian and English options, covering over 5,000 hours of content.

Subscriptions are available as single and family packages, priced at US$4.99 a month and US$8.99 respectively, and a one-week free trial is available.

Dramax plans to include access from smart TVs, Apple TV and Android TV devices within the next year.

Executive board member Murat Saygı said: “Until today, only viewers living in lands where Arabic and Spanish languages are spoken could reach Turkish series from the television channels in their countries until today.

But these days “big immigrations happen and people move to other countries to live and work,” he added. “Turkish content will no longer be series that are watched during broadcasting hours in foreign countries. Instead, they will be watched anytime, anywhere.”
