De Moraes resurfaces at Shiver

The recently departed head of new formats at ITV-owned Twofour Group has resurfaced as group creative director at the UK commercial broadcaster’s factual producer Shiver.

Ana De Moraes

Ana De Moraes is joining new Shiver MD Tim Carter in the newly created position having left Twofour as part of a restructure earlier this month.

De Moraes had been with Twofour since January 2016 after two years as creative director of the in-house development team at the BBC.

She had previously been director of development at Twenty Twenty, where she created The Choir (BBC2) and First Dates (Channel 4), and will now oversee all development at Shiver.

De Moraes will work with Carter to set the development strategy and goals for each of Shiver’s genre heads, in entertainment, factual entertainment, documentaries and current affairs.

Carter, who left Twenty Twenty to lead Shiver at the turn of the year, said: “I created this role to supercharge development at Shiver and harness the great creative talent in the business.

“Ana is an ideas machine, an original and surprising thinker with a talent for creating global hits. She brings an experienced eye on strategy and fantastic relationships with key commissioners. Her central role will become even more crucial as we grow our creative talent pool.”
