DCD Rights has acquired Life in Six Strings with Kylie Olsson

UK-based distributor DCD Rights has acquired music-themed factual series Life in Six Strings with Kylie Olsson, which it will shop to buyers at Mipcom in Cannes next week.

The 8×30′ series, produced by LISS Films, sees TV host and music journalist Olsson interview famous rock guitarists such as Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme and Def Leppard’s Phil Collen.

In related news, DCD Rights has announced recent sales for other music-skewing content from its catalogue.

Festive-themed Christmas at Graceland has been picked up by Czech TV, HRT in Croatia, TV2 in Denmark, Globo in Brazil and SBS Australia. The latter broadcaster has also taken Electric Lady Studios: A Jimi Hendrix Vision for its indigenous channel NITV, as well as Chicago & Friends Live at 55 for SBS On Demand.

Finally, the fourth season of The Great Songwriters has been sold to Sky New Zealand, Globo and Atoss International Japan.
