Mascia will join the sports entertainment company on May 1, tasked with executing its vision to become a “fundamental part of sports fans’ lives in the region.”

Previously, Mascia worked at Sky Deutschland for more than a decade, starting as customer marketing director before being promoted to positions such as VP of strategy and executive VP of products and marketing.

Mascia said: “Having worked in the media and consumer industry in DACH for over a decade, I can’t wait to join DAZN’s team at such an exciting time for the business and in a region so close to my heart.

“I am looking forward to driving DAZN’s ambitious growth strategy and continuing to deliver an incredible entertainment experience for DAZN’s members and all sport fans in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.”
