Dakota exec arrives at Media Ranch

Canadian producer Media Ranch has appointed the VP of distribution at Flight of the Conchords producer Dakota Pictures to a business development role.

Christos Sourligas has joined Media Ranch as senior VP of business development and distribution after just over two years with US-based Dakota Pictures.

Sourligas has also held roles at companies such as FarMore Distribution, where he was VP of sales, and Just For Laughs, where he was VP of distribution.

The exec will be joining the Media Ranch team at Mipcom where they will be bringing a slate of projects including a scripted comedy series featuring flamboyant 1980’s glam rockers Steel Panther.
