CTV picks up NBC Weakest Link reboot

The original UK version of The Weakest Link

Canadian broadcaster CTV has acquired US network NBC’s reboot of quizshow The Weakest Link.

CTV will begin airing the format at the end of this month as part of its fall schedule.

The reboot was announced by NBC in July, after the US network commissioned 13 episodes from BBC Studios and Universal Television Alternative Studio.

Also returning to CTV this fall are gameshow Supermarket Sweep and the second run of comedy series Jann, in addition to new drama Filthy Rich.
