CJ ENM’s tvN launches in Indonesia

CJ ENM in Hong Kong has launched its tvN and tvN Movies linear channels on Telkomsel’s MAXstream service in Indonesia.

Telkomsel is the largest digital telco operator in Indonesia and the agreement will give the 162 million subscribers to its MAXstream streaming app access to the tvN channels.

Shows on tvN include new thriller Flower of Evil, eco series House on Wheels, home vacation show Summer Vacation and upcoming fantasy drama The Tale of Gumiho.

Films on tvN Movies include Battle of Jangsari, The Uninvited and Baseball Girl.

“We have seen tremendous successes from our partnerships with telecommunication and OTT platforms in the region, and we are working closely to partner more who are looking to expand in the OTT space,” said Michael Jung, MD of CJ ENM Hong Kong.

“In Indonesia, this new mobile penetration will ensure our brands can be easily accessed by the widest pool of audience.”
