CJ ENM grows AVoD distribution footprint with Tubi, Roku content deals

The deal cover over 500 hours of CJ ENM content

Hundreds of hours of CJ ENM library content is set to land on Tubi and The Roku Channel after the South Korean company agreed separate deals with the AVoD platforms.

Fox-owned Tubi will launch more than 75 Korean films, dramas and K-Pop series in the US and Canada, including Quad 38, Reply 1994, Hogu’s Love, The Chronicles of Evil, A Werewolf Boy and eight seasons of K-Pop music chart show M Countdown.

The deal includes over 500 hours of content, with some additional titles set to be added next year. Tubi said viewership of its Korean programming has grown by 25% during the past year.

CJ ENM content has also launched on The Roku Channel via branded channel called About K-Content by CJ ENM. The channel will include dramas The K2 and Emergency Couple and movies such as Finding Mr Destiny and The Chronicles of Evil

In recent months, the Korean company has looked to expand its distribution footprint in the AVoD space, inking deals with Pluto TV, Peacock and Apple TV.
