CJ ENM buys into US-based VR firm

NEWS BRIEF: South Korean entertainment group CJ ENM has acquired a stake in US-based virtual-reality concert platform AmazeVR as part of its plans to create VR content and “to expand business opportunities related to VR platforms,” the company said today.

CJ ENM said it has hundreds of music and concert formats within its content library that can be developed into VR content. CJ ENM CEO Kang Ho-Sung said: “CJ ENM’s production capabilities combined with AmazeVR’s technology will be able to create new forms of VR content.”
