Featuring Koko of K-pop girl group Izna, it sees six contestants locked in a confined hexagon-shaped space where they face a series of high-stakes missions in a battle to win a cash prize.

The project arises from the strategic partnership agreed by CJ ENM and TBS in 2021, which sees both companies collaborate to expand their content portfolios.

Based on a concept provided by CJ ENM, Infinite Loop will premiere on TBS on March 24.

Jangho Seo, exec VP, content business division at CJ ENM, said: “As more and more Korean unscripted shows are well received on a global scale, it has become crucial for both content providers and creators to discover distinctive yet comprehensible ideas that can foster the viewers’ interests.

“Infinite Loop is a big yet clear-cut show that will propose a clear answer to those challenges.”

Jun Fukai, director, global sales and development at TBS Holdings, said: “Korean producers made numerous visits to Japan, engaging in extensive creative meetings to refine every detail, ultimately bringing this ground-breaking show to life.

“While Infinite Loop will first air in Japan, we are confident that audiences worldwide will be captivated by its unique appeal.”
