Cineflix Rights appoints All3Media’s Mike Gould as senior VP of digital

UK-based distributor Cineflix Rights has appointed All3Media International’s Mike Gould to the newly created position of senior VP of digital.

Cineflix Rights said Gould’s appointment comes as it is ramping up the growth of its digital business, including the launch of free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels.

Reporting to Tim Mutimer, CEO of Cineflix Rights, who joined the company last year from Banijay Rights, Gould will be responsible for increasing revenue streams through leveraging Cineflix Rights’ slate to deliver longform and shortform content across all digital platforms.

He will also shape and lead Cineflix Rights’ strategy to launch direct-to-consumer FAST channels later this year.

Gould joins Cineflix Rights on October 6 from All3Media International, where he has been VP of global digital partnerships for the last two years.

In that role, he has been responsible for growing the distributor’s digital platform partnerships, including leading and delivering its AVoD and FAST distribution strategy and managing the day-to-day of all self-publishing activity.

Prior to All3Media International, Gould was senior manager of global digital distribution and partnership at Endemol Shine Group, before which he was commercial executive of digital partnerships at BBC Studios. From 2015 to 2016, Gould was a commercial sales executive at ITV.
