Cineflix pieces together Jigsaw hire

Dave Snyder has joined Cineflix

Cineflix Media has hired the VP of development and production at Alex Gibney’s Jigsaw Productions to work in its New York office.

Dave Snyder joins the North American producer as VP of development, having spent the past three years at Jigsaw working on documentaries such as Amazon Studios’ The New Yorker Presents and CNN’s Death Row Stories.

Snyder has also served as showrunner, director and producer of programmes ranging from National Geographic Channel’s Explorer series to MTV’s World of Jenks and Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

Snyder will report to recently appointed exec VP of development Dave Hamilton while working with president of production Charles Tremayne.

Hamilton’s hire in August came after Cineflix decided to focus its development activities in New York and Toronto.

Cineflix, which also has offices in Montreal, LA, London and Dublin, produces series such as American Pickers, Property Brothers and Mayday: Air Disaster.
