Cineflix hires Boat Rocker’s Dina Appleton

NEWS BRIEF: Canadian production group Cineflix Media has hired attorney Dina Appleton from rival Boat Rocker Media as exec VP of global business and legal affairs.

Appleton will oversee business and legal affairs relating to the development, production, acquisition, and distribution of television and digital content across Cineflix Studios, Cineflix Productions, and Cineflix Rights, as well as the group’s joint ventures and creative partnerships. Reporting to Cineflix Media president Appleton, she will be based at the company’s Toronto office.
