China’s CCTV picks up Irish preschool animation The Day Henry Met

Chinese broadcaster CCTV-14 Kids has acquired Irish animated preschool series The Day Henry Met.

Produced by Dublin-based animation studio Wiggleywoo, The Day Henry Met follows the adventures of a four-year-old boy as he meets various objects and people.

Currently airing in 192 countries, the series is broadcast on Nick Jr almost worldwide and on a range of free TV channels including ITV in the UK and Ireland, Rai in Italy, ABC in Australia, TVO and Knowledge in Canada, YLE in Finland, SVT in Sweden, ERR in Estonia, TVP in Poland, RUV in Iceland, Aztec TV in Mexico, and Canal+ in French -speaking Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. It is also available on many SVoD platforms.

The Day Henry Met will launch on CCTV-14 Kids later this month in the channel’s daily Animation World primetime slot. The show is distributed worldwide by Monster Entertainment.
