Reporting to Eric Pearce, exec VP of creator operations, he will lead the outfit’s efforts to expand creator content beyond audio into video licensing, streaming platforms and emerging distribution channels.

Schneider has over a decade of experience building and scaling distribution businesses across FAST, SVoD, AVoD and digital platforms.

He previously led distribution and business development at Cheddar, having also held roles in content acquisition and partnerships at US streaming service Sling TV.

Fox Corp acquired RSV in February last year as part of a strategy to expand its footprint in the creator economy. The New York-headquartered company produces audio and video podcasts, with more than 200 million monthly active users.

Chris Balfe, CEO of RSV, said: “Our goal has always been to help creators unlock the full value of their content and Daniel is the right person to lead this effort.

“He brings a deep understanding of the distribution landscape across streaming and digital platforms, along with a track record of scaling businesses from the ground up. Alongside our platforms, Daniel will help drive creators’ expansion into new formats and broader audiences.”
