Channel 5 to play Wild Cards in UK

NEWS BRIEF: Channel 5 has acquired UK rights to the first two seasons of crime procedural Wild Cards, which airs on The CW in the US and CBC in Canada, from distributor Fifth Season.

The series was made available in the UK on C5’s sister streaming service Paramount+ last month. Fifth Season has also picked up S3-4 for global distribution, once again produced by Blink49 Studios, Front Street Pictures and Piller/Segan. More deals for the first two seasons have been signed with The Walt Disney Company (Greece, Cyprus, Malta), Sony Pictures Television (Latin America) and Disney (Balkans).
