NEWS BRIEF: Paramount-owned Channel 5 in the UK has commissioned two more seasons of Cause of Death, which follows real-life coronial investigations, medical processes and police investigations.

The documentary series will return in 2023 and 2024 for 16×60′ episodes, once again taking viewers inside the world of the senior coroner for Lancashire and Darwen in the UK to find out how people died. Commissioned by Channel 5 and Paramount+ commissioning editor Daniel Pearl, the show is produced by Candour Productions and is executive produced by the Leeds-based prodco’s Anna Hall.
