Channel 4 to air fast-turnaround documentary on Trump versus Harris

Donald Trump is now likely to face Kamala Harris in November’s presidential race

Channel 4 is gearing up to air a fast-turnaround documentary from ITN Productions about the likely battle between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in the upcoming US election.

Trump versus Harris: The Battle for America (1×60′) will air on Channel 4 on August 7 and comes as Harris looks set to secure the Democratic Presidential nomination.

The commission from Channel 4 came hours after Harris announced her intention to enter the presidential race on July 21. The film is being produced, edited and will be aired within 17 days.

Presented by Channel 4 News anchor Matt Frei, the documentary features analysis of Trump and Harris’s history as political opponents, interviews with politicians on both sides of the Atlantic and provides a ‘temperature check’ of the US electorate with filming in key swing states.
