Channel 4 revisits Louise Woodward case

NEWS BRIEF: Channel 4 in the UK has commissioned a three-part true crime series from Fremantle-owned Naked about a nanny who was accused of murdering a baby by shaking him.

Louise Woodward: Villain or Victim? will re-examine the 1997 death of eight-month-old Matthew Eappen with access to the defence, prosecution, detectives, paramedics and journalists involved. It was commissioned by Daniel Fromm, C4’s commissioning editor for factual entertainment, with Alf Lawrie, head of fact ent, and Naked MD Fatima Salaria is among the exec producers. Fremantle is handling distribution.
