NEWS BRIEF: UK public broadcaster Channel 4 has recommissioned crime thriller series Before We Die for a second season, after the first accrued more than 12 million views on its All4 AVoD service.

Produced by Eagle Eye Drama and Belgium’s Caviar TV, S1 of the show, which is based on the Swedish series of the same name, premiered on Channel 4 last year. S2 will not follow the same storyline as the Swedish original. PBS Distribution holds the North American rights and ZDF Enterprises distributes the series worldwide.
