Channel 4 orders trio of digital shows from After Party Studios for its YouTube channel

YouTuber and comedian Specs Gonzalez fronts Hear Me Out

UK public broadcaster Channel 4 has commissioned three shows from digital specialist prodco After Party Studios to launch on its YouTube channel, Channel 4.0.

The first is an extended 9×15’ second season and two specials of comedy panel show Hear Me Out. Ordered by Channel 4.0’s commissioning lead Evie Buckley, the first season was fronted by YouTuber and comedian Specs Gonzalez and saw the likes of Nella Rose and Zeze Millz debate whose boldest opinions are the most controversial in comedy debates.

After Party Studios has also secured a commission for seven episodes of 4.0’s head-to-head strand Creator Clash, ordered by digital commissioning exec Kaio Grizzelle.

Finally, the broadcaster has lined up one episode of a new format called Trust Issues, a digital companion piece ordered by digital commissioner Cat White to accompany new E4 show The Honesty Box.

Jamie MacDonald and Sam Ewen are executive producers on both projects, with Fatima Rahouma producing and Chris Goodson directing.
