NEWS BRIEF: UK commercially funded public broadcaster Channel 4 has commissioned a shortform scripted comedy series about street performers from comedian Huge Davis.

Produced by Spirit Studios, The Artists will be made available across C4’s social media platforms and then on on-demand service All 4.

The three-part series is exec produced and directed by Morgan Jones and was commissioned by the broadcaster’s digital commissioning exec Thomas Pullen.
