NEWS BRIEF: Commercially funded UK pubcaster Channel 4 has acquired a documentary special celebrating the history of the Second World War Avro Lancaster aircraft, produced by UK indie Big Little Fish TV.

Sir David Jason: The Lancaster at 80 (1×60’) is narrated by the actor and aviation enthusiast and features contributions from historians Alexandra Churchill, Dr Peter Johnson and James Holland, authors Leo McKinstry (Lancaster) and Mark Johnson (Pilots of the Caribbean), military history enthusiast Arthur Williams and veteran Lancaster crew members. International distribution is being handled by Abacus Media Rights.
