Channel 4 delves into retail reselling sector in new daytime show Bidding Wars

UK pubcaster Channel 4 has commissioned a daytime show from Daisybeck Studios and Motion Content Group that goes behind the scenes of the retail reselling sector.

Bidding Wars follows a returning cast of resellers from across the country as they try to generate a profit from their blind purchases through online second-hand sites, car boot sales and specialist dealers.

The 15×30’ series examines how the reselling of retail has become a multi-million-pound business, with a growing community of entrepreneurial resellers buying up unchecked bulk selections of returned consumer items.

Presented by Kevin Duala (The One Show), Bidding Wars sees the resellers go head-to-head at auction, each attempting to net the biggest profit along the way.
