ChaiFlicks acquires package from Music Box Films

NEWS BRIEF: Jewish streaming service ChaiFlicks has licensed a package of 15 films from Chicago-based distributor Music Box Films.

The deal includes Polish drama Ida, which won the Academy Award for best foreign-language film in 2015; Gett: The Trial of Vivane Amsalem; Memoir of War; Aida’s Secrets and Golden Voice. For ChaiFlicks, the pact with Music Box comes on the heels of deals to acquire Israeli-US spy scandal docuseries Pollard, Israeli-Palestinian conflict docuseries Birth of a Conflict and Israeli drama series Shtisel.
