Celebrity Sabotage and thriller Frauds head ITV Studios’ Cannes line-up

Lifted Entertainment’s Celebrity Sabotage sees celebs interfere in a ‘gameshow’

UK-based ITV Studios (ITVS) has unveiled its full Mipcom slate, including fake-gameshow format Celebrity Sabotage, premium thriller Frauds, a factual crime series and natural history titles.

Celebrity Sabotage (6×60’) is from Lifted Entertainment, creator of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, for ITV. It sees contestants compete in what they believe is a reality gameshow, but celebrity saboteurs are watching their every move and carrying out missions to disrupt their success.

The formats roster also includes reality show Nobody’s Fool (5×60’, Lifted Entertainment and Nobody’s Hero for ITV), treasure hunt series Worlds Apart (5×60’, South Shore for Channel 4), quizshow Time is Money (25×60’, South Shore for ITV) and dating spin-off Love Island: Beyond the Villa (8×60’, ITV America for Peacock).

Scripted shows to be shopped to buyers include thriller Frauds (6×60’, Monumental Television for ITV in association with ITVS), crime procedural A Taste for Murder (6×60’, Eagle Eye Drama for BritBox), spy thriller Betrayal (4×60’, Mammoth Screen for ITV) and Two Weeks in August (8×60’, Various Artists in association with ITVS for the BBC).

ITVS’s unscripted slate comprises premium access crime series Operation Dark Phone: Murder by Text (4×60’, The Garden for Channel 4), natural history title Ages of Ice (3×60’, Nothern Pictures for PBS and ABC in Australia) and two wildlife series from ITVS-owned Plimsoll Productions: Extreme Earth (6×60’, for ITV and ARD in Germany) and Secret Garden (5×60’, for BBC and Arte).
