CCTV, Discovery acquire War Factories

Broadcasters including CCTV in China and Discovery in Benelux have picked up the second season of documentary series War Factories.

The eight-episode season has also been picked up by Autentic in Germany, Telewizja Polsat in Poland, FTV Prima in the Czech Republic and Viasat World in Central and Eastern Europe and the Nordics.

Produced and distributed by UK-based Wag Entertainment, with investment from multichannel operator UKTV and TF1 Group’s Histoire TV in France, War Factories examines how manufacturing influenced the course of the Second World War.

S2 is currently airing on UKTV’s history-themed channel Yesterday and on Histoire TV.
