CBS’s Evil set for Spain

The Syfy channel in Spain has struck a licensing agreement with distributor CBS Studios International (CBSSI) for new CBS series Evil.

From The Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King, Evil will have its Spanish premiere on Syfy in January 2020.

Evil is a psychological mystery examining the origins of evil along the dividing line between science and religion. It sees a sceptical female psychologist join a priest-in-training and a contractor as they investigate the church’s backlog of unexplained mysteries. The Kings serve as executive producers along with Liz Glotzer.

The agreement follows a deal CBSSI made with NBCUniversal International Networks to air the series across Latin America, where Evil will premiere on October 31.
