CBS Reality tells The Truth About My Murder as it unveils UK, Poland true crime slate

The Truth About My Murder will debut in the UK in September

Factual network CBS Reality has unveiled a line-up of original true crime programming fronted by experts for its UK and Polish feeds this autumn.

The Truth About My Murder (10×60’) is hosted by forensic pathologist and author Dr Richard Shepherd, who has worked on some of the most high-profile cases of recent times and performed more than 23,000 autopsies throughout his career.

The series is produced by Yeti Television and will premiere on September 22 on CBS Reality in the UK.

Also in the UK, Wrongly Accused (10×60’) will examine a series of investigations that led to a wrongful conviction, and the reinvestigation that eventually caught the murderer. Hosted by criminal justice campaigner and journalist Louise Shorter, the show features exclusive interviews, supported by dramatic reconstructions and expert-led opinion.

Produced by Monster Films, it will debut on November 15.

The final UK show is Murder by the Sea, which has been renewed for a seventh 10×60’ season produced by Monster Films and will debut on September 6.

In Poland, two-part docuseries Always Upholding the Law (2×60) tells the story of the disappearance of a police officer after he intervened in a robbery when he was off duty. Produced by Blueberry Media, the doc will premiere on August 13.

A Crime Without a Body (5×60), meanwhile, analyses murder cases in which the key piece of evidence – the body – is disposed of by the perpetrators. The show is produced by Jake Vision.
