CBeebies, Treehouse, StackTV welcome Spin Master Entertainment’s Vida the Vet

Animated series Vida the Vet

UK preschool channel CBeebies has teamed with Canadian preschool net Treehouse and streaming platform StackTV on an animated series about a vet from Paw Patrol producer Spin Master Entertainment.

Set to debut in fall 2023 on the BBC- and Corus Entertainment-owned platforms, Vida the Vet (52×11’) follows a 10-year-old animal doctor who nurtures the charming and silly woodland creatures who live outside her home.

Toronto-based Jam Filled Entertainment is animating the series, which is created by Dustin Ferrer.

Exec producing are Spin Master’s CEO Ronnen Harary, Spin Master Entertainment’s president Jennifer Dodge, senior VP of development and feature film Laura Clunie, senior VP of production and operations Toni Stevens and Jennifer Oxley, who also acts as showrunner.

Spin Master is orchestrating a global franchise roll-out and will lead consumer products cross-category licensing worldwide, starting with toys in 2024. Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana has been secured as the exclusive licensing and merchandising representative for the brand in Canada and France.
