CBeebies orders second serving of revamped Big Cook, Little Cook

UK pubcaster the BBC’s preschool channel CBeebies has ordered a second season of the Big Cook, Little Cook reboot.

Big Cook, Little Cook is a live-action comedy cookery show featuring two chefs – one adult-sized and the other only a few inches tall – as they make recipes in the kitchen.

Produced by Dot to Dot Productions, Big Cook, Little Cook originally aired for three seasons on CBeebies from 2004 to 2006 and featured Steve Marsh and Dan Wright in the roles of Big Cook Ben and Little Cook Small, respectively.

The rebooted version features two women in the main roles, with Ibinabo Jack playing Big Cook Jen and Courtney Bowman playing Little Cook Small.

Season one of the reboot premiered on CBeebies earlier this year. Season two (25×19’) will debut this Saturday.
