CBC Kids searches for answers

Family CHRGD’s Gaming Show (In My Parents Garage)

CBC Kids in Canada has commissioned a series that challenges viewers to guess the answers to everyday questions in order to help them separate fact from fiction.

Holy Baloney (10×3′) is produced by Matt Hornbug and Mark Bishop of Marblemedia, along with Jesse Shamata, creator of the Family CHRGD series Gaming Show (In My Parents Garage).

Each episode features three kids who take time out of their lunch hour to answer a poignant question about everyday things, such as where something in the world comes from or why people do the things they do.

“In Holy Baloney, we ask the big everyday questions: why is the sky blue? Why do we shake hands? The type of questions we all asked as kids and sometimes don’t remember as adults, or would be surprised by the real answer,” said Matt Hornburg, co-CEO of Marblemedia.

International rights to the series are held by Marblemedia-owned Distribution 360. The series will also be available on the CBC TV app.
