Candiano-Marcus’s Baby Prodigy Company creates preschool Sensational 5!

Animated preschool series Sensational 5!

LA-based Baby Prodigy Company, founded by TV producer Barbara Candiano-Marcus, is working on an animated preschool series called Sensational 5!

Baby Prodigy Company was founded in 2002 when Candiano-Marcus created a video aimed at stimulating babies. The video, called Baby Prodigy, was turned into a DVD and CD which were sold in the US, Canada and internationally.

Two decades later, Baby Prodigy is available to watch on The Genius/Kartoon YouTube channel. To mark the brand’s 20th anniversary, Candiano-Marcus is making an animated preschool series for TV that reinforces the premise of Baby Prodigy: stimulating the senses to promote smarter, happier children.

Sensational 5! Features a diverse cast of other characters who solve problems in their world by seeing, hearing, touching, smelling and tasting.

Andrew Viner (Thomas the Tank Engine, Fireman Sam, Noddy, PJ Masks) is attached to write the series.

Candiano-Marcus previously worked on shows with Bright Kauffman Crane Productions, Warner Bros Television, Brad Lachman Productions, Nickelodeon, Paramount and HBO.
