Canal+ sorts Léa’s complicated life

La vie compliquée de Léa Olivier (The Complicated Life of Léa Olivier)

French pay TV broadcaster Canal+ has picked up Canadian pre-teen series La vie compliquée de Léa Olivier (The Complicated Life of Léa Olivier) for its kids’ channel TeleTOON+.

The 12×22’ series, which began airing on TeleTOON+ on January 9, was produced by Encore Television and Slalom in collaboration with Quebecor Content and TFO for streamer Club Illico in Canada, where it premiered last year.

The series has been dubbed into international French for Canal+ to air in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Haiti, Vanuatu and French-speaking Africa. It is also available on the MyCanal on-demand platform.

Léa Olivier was written by Rachel Cardillo and Sebastian Bertrand and is aimed at 9-12s. It is an adaptation of La vie compliquée de Léa Olivier, the series of novels by Quebec author Catherine Girard-Audet.
