Canal+ picks up Danish kids’ fantasy series Walter’s Christmas: Keeper of the Forest

Walter’s Christmas: Keeper of the Forest was produced for TV2

Canal+ in France has acquired the first season of Danish live-action fantasy kids’ series Walter’s Christmas: Keeper of the Forest (24×26’).

Produced by Cosmo Film for TV2 in Denmark, the series follows the adventures of the titular character in a magical forest, where he learns that all of nature is threatened and he is the only one who can save it by recreating a broken pact between creatures and humans.

Walter’s Christmas: Keeper of the Forest is written by Jesper Fink and Thomas Porsager, directed by Morten BH and produced by Sille Sterll and Michel Ryddeskov.

TV2 has commissioned a second season of the show, which is distributed internationally by APC Kids.
