Canal+, KBS take Tencent kids’ shows

Super BOOMi has been picked up by Canal+

French broadcaster Canal+, South Korean pubcaster KBS and Mediacorp in Asia have each acquired kids’ series from Chinese streaming platform Tencent Video.

Canal+ has picked up CGI action-adventure series Super BOOMi (52×11’), which follows a little bear, his dog and their best friends as they play and learn in a virtual reality game universe.

KBS Kids has bought A Squad, a 52×11’ series about a rescue team that maintains the safety of the town.

Mediacorp has acquired CoNaBLUE (52×11’) for its MeWatch VoD platform in Singapore, Indonesia, Vietman, Thailand and Myanmar. The series follows the exploits of five sea creatures who go on an adventurous journey about exploration, investigation and the protection of nature.

Meanwhile, Monster Entertainment has picked up Mini Mind Warriors for international distribution. The 52×7’ series follows a pair of heroes who battle the evil ‘trouble monsters’ who are always meddling with kids’ lives and causing havoc.
