Canal+ and TVP among latest broadcasters to sign up MeteoHeroes

Italian series MeteoHeroes premiered on Cartoonito and Boing in 2020

Canal+ in France and TVP in Poland are among the latest broadcasters to acquire environment-themed kids’ series MeteoHeroes from European producer and distributor Mondo TV.

Canal+ has picked up season two of MeteoHeroes, as well as MeteoHeroes TV movies, to air on its children’s channels Canal+ Kids and Piwi+ in France and French-speaking territories, excluding Canada.

Free-to-air (FTA) broadcaster TVP has picked up season one of the series for its children’s channel TVP ABC, following a successful launch on pay TV platform Teletoon+ at the end of 2021.

Meanwhile, Turkish FTA children’s channel Minika Cocuk has acquired season two of the show, while Singapore’s Channel 5 has picked up season one for its Okto children’s block.

Elsewhere, Switzerland’s Italian-language channel RSI La 1 has picked up a series of shortformat educational clips of MeteoHeroes that highlight environmental issues.
