Under the exclusive deal, Canadian exec Kronish will develop and produce factual programming for the international market, working closely with Muse’s development teams in Montreal, Toronto and LA.

From 2014 to 2018, Kronish ran Vice’s Canadian studio and helped to launch the Vice television network in Canada. During that time, he worked on projects including the Emmy-nominated film Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond and feature film RISE, which premiered at Sundance, as well as Cyberwar, FUBAR, Nirvanna the Band the Show and Vice’s wrestling series Dark Side of the Ring.

Before joining Vice, Kronish led the television studio at Montreal-based prodco Zone33. Prior to that, he was a producer at Quebec’s Galafilm. In addition, Kronish co-founded a tech company, Waverly AI, in 2020.

Muse’s unscripted credits include For Heaven’s Sake for Paramount+ and CBC and JFK: The Smoking Gun for Reelz.

On the scripted side of its business, Muse recently hired former Bell Media exec Tom Hastings as its VP of scripted. The company is also providing production services on Quebec-shot drama Three Pines, produced by Left Bank Pictures for Amazon Prime Video. Production on that project is expected to wrap in December.
